The project is pretty much complete. It's been more than a year in the planning, but less than six months since we "broke ground" on our construction project. The house is in the process of being painted (it's blue. no, no, it's gray. or blue) and we should had pictures of that in just a few days.
This process has taught us a few things:
1. Trust your intuition. If it feels like you'll like a piece, design, idea or color, it will probably suit you. And that's all that matters.
2. Cats always find new nooks to investigate. And they look damn cute snooping around.
3. We can do some of this stuff all-by-selves. I mean, since April, we've repaired a garage door lock, built a garden box and landscaping step, replaced a few light fixtures and spackled & painted up a storm. Even watching other people construct things can be empowering.
Here's a final photo set. For more details, you'e just going to have to come visit.

When I click "Design & Details" I get a message stating that area is private.
I am planning a dormer addition to our home. We just moved here (Columbia SC) and we have a FROG (Finished Room Over Garage) that I would like to add a dormer to.
Any help, feed back etc. will be appreciated!
Thank you.

Hi Steve, you know what...I let my pro flickr account lapse, so the pix got lifted from their server. They're back online now! Does it still show private?
Hi Siobhan!
Thanks for the quick response!
Yes, it works now.
I'm planning on doing my own framing (the entire job actually) myself & I was hoping for detailed plans on the framing of the actual dormer itself. Did your plans include that?
Thanks again Siobhan!

Wow—that's amazing! I'm afraid we don't have anything like that.... sorry!
